is aware that many new additions will join following the arrival of incoming Chief Executive Angus Kinnear.

It has come to light that the aspirational Toffees, now under the ownership of the US-based Friedkin Group since December, are looking to hire additional personnel including a head of football strategy and analytics, and a director of football operations. They are also planning to appoint a new chief executive specifically for their women’s team. These hires form part of a significant restructuring effort aimed at setting the stage for an exhilarating future ahead.

Hammond, a former goalkeeper hailed for his work earlier this century at Reading, joined Leeds in 2023 as a transfer consultant and oversaw a complex rebuild following their relegation from the
Premier League
.

Kinnear plans to leave Leeds when the season ends, with the aim of doing so after contributing to their promotion back to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Kevin Thelwell, who has been with the club for over three years as the current director of football at Everton, will leave his position as part of significant organizational restructuring.

The lead role for football strategy and analytics will be crucial, focused on maintaining consistency within the team regarding player acquisition, athletic development, and coaching techniques. This position aims to enhance their game outcomes and offer high-level backing to coach David Moyes.

The director of football operations will oversee the smooth functioning of the administrative aspects of the sport, whereas the CEO will be embraced by supporters of the female team.

Everton, who have an impressive new stadium with a capacity of 52,888 seats, are contemplating whether to relocate their WSL team to Goodison Park once they vacate their current historic ground.

At present, they host their games at Walton Hall Park, which has a capacity of 2,200 and is located about five miles away from downtown Liverpool. This venue includes only 500 seating options and offers minimal shelter from weather conditions.

After taking over, TFG mentioned they aimed to expand the women’s squad at the club, with appointing a CEO seen as a sign of commitment.
