Kathmandu, April 3 — The nation is currently being affected partially by westerly and local wind currents. Partial cloud coverage can be observed in the Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini areas. Light snowfall is anticipated in the higher elevations and mountainous zones within the territories of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division predicts that temperatures will climb across most regions, accompanied by very low probabilities of precipitation. These arid circumstances could amplify the risks of wildfires and elevate levels of air contamination.

In the Kathmandu Valley, the haze is anticipated to persist for several more days. However, meteorologists forecast that beginning Friday, increased wind activity should progressively enhance air quality and disperse the smoggy conditions.
