Hail Kier, it’s another Music Dance Extravaganza!

Season 2 finale, “Cold Harbor.”

The Dance and Joy division of Lumon has arrived at PaleyFest 2025.

Tramell Tillman, who plays the role of floor manager Seth Milchick on
Severance
, directed the University of Southern California marching band in an unexpected performance during the live Q&A session for the Apple TV+ suspense series at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Friday evening, mere hours following the debut of the showโ€™s second-season finale.

This event closely mirrored the disconcerting festivity orchestrated by Mr. Milchick in this weekโ€™s episode, where Tillmanโ€™s character led the firmโ€™s Dance and Mirth troupe with flair akin to that of a drum major, marking an important achievement within the Macrodata Refinement division.

The scene mirrored and expanded upon a comparable moment from the series’ inaugural season, where Milchick organizes a Music Dance Extravaganza to celebrate Helly R.’s (Britt Lower) accomplishments at work.

Less acclaimed was Tillman along with the marching bandโ€™s display.

This week, she remarked, “Tramell is a genius.” She went on, “The marching band scene truly captures, for me, the contrast within the seriesโ€”the cutthroat business environment alongside an impressively organized band always prepared. Itโ€™s incredibly whimsical yet bizarre. Yet simultaneously, these characters navigate deeply personal journeys amidst such fantastical elements.”

She went on, “I am immensely proud to be part of this amazing teamโ€”the actors, technicians, and creators behind our productionโ€”everyone has invested so much hard work and consideration into every element of this massive jigsaw puzzle that weโ€™re constructing and deciphering together.”

“Erickson mentioned during an interview that this has consistently been a show they handle with great care and precision, carefully crafting every aspect of the narrative.” He added, โ€œThis approach applied equally to season one; in fact, I believe producing season one required just as much time as season two did. The key distinction being that back then nobody anticipated it nor were aware of what it would become.โ€

He went on, “However, despite this, after going through it two times, there is greater procedural clarity on what methods work effectively and how to make things smoother. Therefore, our aim is certainly not to prolong peopleโ€™s distress over an extended period of three years. I trust we wonโ€™t have to repeat this process again.”
