New Delhi [India], March 28 (ANI): India and the U.S. expressed their continued dedication to enhancing the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership through high-level bilateral meetings held in Washington, D.C., according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs.

The Foreign Minister, acting as the Prime Ministerโ€™s Special Representative, participated in the US Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2025. The talks encompassed various topics such as security matters, technological advancements, and regional collaboration.

In reply to a query posed in the Rajya Sabha by Members of Parliament Parmar Jashvantsinh Salamsinh, Brij Lal, Rekha Sharma, Baburam Nishad, Tejveer Singh, Narhari Amin, Subhash Barala, and Medha Vishram Kulkarni, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh mentioned, โ€œOn January 20, 2025, the External Affairs Minister served as the Prime Ministerโ€™s special envoy at the inauguration ceremony of the U.S. President. Both parties emphasized their joint dedication to enhancing the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between India and the United States during bilateral meetings. They covered various subjects such as regional and international matters along with exploring ways to intensify cooperation under the Indo-U.S. alliance.โ€
