President William Ruto conducted a week-long developmental visit to the Mt Kenya region.


Crowds of people gathered to hear him speak and gave him a warm welcome.


He engaged with the locals and joined in dancing to traditional music when inaugurating various initiatives.


The President initiated and deployed various projects throughout the counties in the regions.


He ordered the construction of infrastructure and checked on affordable housing initiatives, along with various other tasks.


The President was alongside Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.



Raila mourns aide Oduor

Oduor passed away on Thursday night at a hospital in Nairobi.

Politicians from all sides joined in mourning him as a pillar of strength.

Raila characterized Oduor as an individual who consistently remained watchful and remarkably diligent in performing his responsibilities.

The ODM leader said that he will dearly miss his bodyguard.

UHC nurses protest



Nurses employed through the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) program demonstrated outside the National Parliament on Monday.


Healthcare workers recruited from various counties were conducting a peaceful demonstration, urging the authorities to offer them permanent and pensionable positions.



Wetangโ€™ula meets Obasanjo


The National Assembly Speaker, Moses Wetang’ula, conducted an unexpected consultation meeting.


The ex-President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, regarding peace in the East African region.


The talks revolved around the continuing mediation efforts between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the Republic of Rwanda.


President Obasanjo is among the three distinguished African political leaders spearheading the current regional peace initiative.
