IU and Park Bo-gum demonstrated their genuine rapport off-screen.

On July 7th, a video titled “IU’s Newborn Life Is Just One Day; I Was Completely Deceived~” was uploaded onto the YouTube channel named ‘Enow.’

The footage captures IU as she shoots for Netflix’s ‘I’ve Been Completely Fooled.’ Upon her arrival on set, Park Bo-gum complimented IU, stating, “She looks beautiful, yet surprisingly…” To this comment, IU responded adorably, wearing an expression full of pride.

Later, IU felt envious because the camera appeared to focus more on Park Bo-gum rather than her, remarking, “Even though this is our camera, does it seem like you’re shooting Bo-gum as the lead?” To which Park Bo-gum responded politely, “Thanks. Do you want me to take over holding the camera?”, offering his assistance.

Prior to starting the intense shooting schedule, IU and Park Bo-gum were presented with baseball jackets and windbreakers by Netflix. Upon discovering she had been given only a jacket without a specific item mentioned earlier, IU expressed envy, questioning why hers was different, specifically mentioning swords. The production crew reassured her that they indeed provided various types of items including what she wanted. At this point, he unexpectedly gave an awkward smile which amused everyone present.

When IU watched the edited version for the first time during the recording of a commentary titled “I was completely deceived,” she shed tears alongside Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri, and Park Hae-joon.

IU subsequently found herself with a packed schedule as she tackled photo shoots, reel recordings, and highlight reaction videos. During one break in filming, Park Bo-gum spontaneously took up his role from KBS 2TV’s ‘The Seasons – Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile,’ asking IU about her experience. She responded by showcasing their camaraderie through impromptu duets where they sang together and crafted an acrostic using “Can’t I sing a song?” rather than directly expressing her sentiments.

In ‘I Was Completely Deceived,’ Park Bo-gum demonstrated attentive behavior towards IU when Gwan-sik tended to Ae-soon. Upon noticing that IU’s hair was disheveled and she was coughing from the wind, he immediately stood up to shield her from it. Additionally, he personally peeled tangerines and encouraged IU—who mentioned she hadn’t eaten since getting lip surgery—to have at least a small bite.

IU expressed her surprise upon seeing Park Bo-gyum, who maintained his enthusiasm, stating, “We’ve been shooting for around 9 hours, and it’s still light out. It’s quite exceptional to remain so energetic and act as a source of motivation even during breaks.”

Consequently, Park Bo-gum mentioned, “I enjoy being together,” and added, reflecting on the moment, “Since life isn’t about constant meetings.” He further noted how everyone around him was considerate, stating, “Even the camera operators from Lee Dam Entertainment have been mindful of their environment.” Upon hearing this, IU responded playfully yet firmly, “How did you end up at The Black Label? It’s surprising that they’ve had photoshoots with you for quite some time now. You’re not getting away easily,” she remarked, wearing a smile tinged with mock anger.

Park Bo-gum, having completed his filming first, greeted IU. Left behind, IU appeared crestfallen as she remarked, “Bo-gum, now you’re leaving.” She then reflected, “I believed that life occasionally feels like an enjoyable outing where we join together; however, everyone departs at their own pace. Had I been done earlier, perhaps I would’ve left before you did.” Meanwhile, Park Bo-gum’s sudden departure caused him to seem somewhat hazy, which elicited some laughter from those around them.
