The Moroccan national soccer squad is anticipated to move up two positions in the forthcoming FIFA monthly rankings scheduled for release in April.

Based on information from the specialized site Football Ranking, the Atlas Lions are set to rise from their current position of 14th to No. 12 worldwide, accumulating 1,690.95 points, thus ranking above well-known squads such as Colombia, Uruguay, and Denmark.

Morocco is getting closer to Croatia, which is presently in the 11th position with 1,707.99 points.

The increase can primarily be attributed to Moroccoโ€™s 2-1 win against Niger in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round, securing them an extra 2.77 points. In Africa, Morocco continues to hold the highest ranking position.

On Tuesday, March 25, The Atlas Lions will carry forward their quest for qualification in the upcoming World Cup round against Tanzania, maintaining an undefeated record and showcasing their prowess as one of the sturdiest squads across the African continent.
