Kamgbunli (W/R), April 1, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, recently provided an assortment of food items and cash to numerous Muslims within the Ellembelle District as they concluded their observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

The items comprised 50 sacks of rice and GHC 10,000 for the Asasetre Muslim community.

The Aiyinasi-North Muslim community was granted 21 sacks of sugar.

A hundred sacks of rice were handed out to the Kamgbunli and other Islamic groups in locations such as Ebi, A.B. Bokazo, Alla Bokazo, Azulenloanu, and Ambainu, amongst others.

They also got cartons of cooking oil.

Overall, Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah donated over 150 sacks of rice, 21 sacks of sugar, and several cartons of cooking oil to assist with their celebration following a month of fasting and prayers to Allah.

Previously, hundreds of Muslims gathered at the sacred site on the premises of the Kamgbunli mosque in the Ellembelle District for their prayers and Friday congregational prayer following Islamic customs.

Mr. Kofi Buah, who serves as the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, praised the Muslim community for their ongoing contribution to maintaining peace, harmony, and unity within the nation.

He affirmed that the government was prepared to tackle the issues faced by the Muslim community.

Mr. Kofi Buah Armah commended the Muslim community for maintaining peace and harmony with their Christian neighbors.

Sheikh Mustapha Kwesi Buah Abdallah, the District Chief Imam of Ellembelle, who accepted the items on behalf of the local Muslim community, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah for his annual contribution to the Islamic faith.

He sought Allah’s guidance and blessings for theMP.
