Lee Zeldin, the Environmental Protection Agency administrator, declared his choice to cancel a $2 billion grant allocated to a non-government entity associated with Stacey Abrams, backed by the Department of Government Efficiency.

highlighted on social platforms that the Abrams grant from the Biden administration was merely one among numerous similar grants discovered by the department.

‘ numerous frauds of this kind,’ he penned.

DOGE also
declared an additional $577 million in revoked grants from the Department of Labor, bringing the total savings to $237 million.

The list
included
$10 million allocated for ‘promoting gender equality in Mexico’s workplaces,’ $12.2 million dedicated to ’empowering workers across South America,’ and $6.25 million set aside for ‘enhancing respect for labor rights within agricultural supply chains’ in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.



The cut funds also encompassed $5 million aimed at boosting women’s involvement in workplaces across West Africa, $4.3 million targeted at aiding foreign migrant workers in Malaysia, along with allocations of $3 million each: one for improving social security benefits and labor rights for domestic migrants in Bangladesh, and another for fostering safe and inclusive working conditions in Lesotho.

DOGE asserts it has saved Americans $130 billion, equivalent to $807.45 per taxpayer, as Musk’s key team members keep searching through every federal agency for additional savings.
