The 7th Volta Trade and Investment Fair will commence on Monday, August 25, 2025, in Juapong, signaling the start of various events building toward the major gathering in November.

Regional Minister James Gunu stated in an interview that selecting Juapong was deliberateโ€”a move meant to highlight the town’s commercial prospects and attract investors’ focus toward the struggling Volta Star Textiles Company. By holding the event away from the regional capital, organizers seek to underline that the Volta Region offers possibilities well beyond the main city.

The event, scheduled from November 26 to December 8 in Ho, has the following theme
Rising Volta: Establishing International Alliances for a Flourishing 24-Hour Economic System.
A trade event will operate around the clock on specific days for the first time, merging commerce, cultural activities, travel, and fun into an uninterrupted 13-day display.

Structured as a leading public-private partnership, the Volta Fair has become one of the nation’s top venues for attracting investments, establishing the area as a strong center for commerce, travel, manufacturing, and technological advancement. The event this year is set to be the most significant so far.

Before the exhibition, preliminary events will establish the atmosphereโ€”such as company-themed entertainment activities, the
Visit Volta: Experience Ghana
trip, as well as an essay contest focused on tourism and culture for educational institutions.

The event will feature prominent conferences and gatherings, including the inaugural Volta Investment Summit, the Women in Entrepreneurship Summit, the Youth in Entrepreneurship Summit, the ICT and Innovation Forum, along with a specialized session on packaging technology. Cultural attractions like the Ghana-India Business Dinner, the Creative Arts Forum, Farmerโ€™s Day festivities, and regional day events will enhance the experience.

Companies and investors from all over Ghana will join international attendees from Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Kenya, Namibia, India, Malaysia, and more, highlighting the event’s increasing worldwide popularity.

The official start of the Volta Trade and Investment Fair’s innovative edition will be marked by the August 25 event in Juapong, set to revolutionize how investments are promoted within the region through its distinctive 24-hour format, international collaborations, and vibrant mix of commerce and cultural elements.
