On Sunday, Chief Minister Saha highlighted the administration’s dedication to recognizing those whose outstanding achievements have brought prestige to the state. He stressed the necessity of keeping their memories alive so that their legacies endure.

The trailblazer of contemporary sculpture in the region is Bipul Kanti Saha. Among the gifted youth of this area, he stands out remarkably. His unwavering diligence and commitment have garnered international acclaim for sculpting within these borders. These remarkable individuals remain unforgettable; they will motivate future generations to progress,” stated Chief Minister Saha.

During the inauguration of the 3-day Bipul Kanti Saha State Art & Craft Festival at the Government Art and Craft College in Lichubagan, CM Saha made these remarks. The event was organized by the Information and Cultural Affairs Department.

The Chief Minister stated that the budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 includes an allocation of Rs. 3 crore for musical instrument workshops aimed at tribal communities throughout the state. (ANI)
