However, we’re totally obsessed with it.

There are customized bicycles available that serve their intended purposes perfectly—these are specially crafted vehicles made for particular tasks. Then you have motorcycles such as this one: an ultra-powered,
400-horsepower Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR
That has absolutely no right to exist.

And still, here we stand.

Let’s begin with the basic bike. The
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR
It’s already an incredible machine. After spending considerable time with it, I was so impressed that I thought about purchasing one myself. This bike stands out as the top performer in Triumph’s range, featuring a 1,160cc inline-three engine delivering 177 horsepower. It’s swift, precise, and as polished as British sports bikes can be. But then, why on earth would anyone decide to add a supercharger to it, boosting the output to a mind-blowing 400 horsepower?

Enter
Thornton Hundred Motorcycles
, a UK-based store known for crafting top-tier, unrestricted bespoke motorcycles. Upon seeing the Speed Triple RR, they mused, This bike requires something truly terrifying—like scaring fighter pilots! Thus emerged this wildly modified version, equipped with a Rotrax C30 supercharger, a specially designed billet swingarm extending 180mm beyond standard length, and an additional five-liter methanol reservoir incorporated within the swingarm for use with the water/methanol injection system.

Exactly—that thing operates on a mix of fuel and sheer madness.

It somewhat resembles a real-life interpretation of a Lego Technic set.

Next up is the design aspect. With an impressive 400 horsepower under the hood, this vehicle also features a complete carbon fiber exterior, adjustable aerodynamics, and ultralight carbon rims. Its aggressive look rivals that of a MotoGP racer; however, unlike those bikes, it’s completely road legal. Just be warned: even though it can legally hit city streets, riding it might feel like watching your entire life pass swiftly before your eyes due to its blistering speed potential.

Then, who might be interested in such a thing? It’s someone who disregards logic with a chuckle. They look at a meticulously crafted sports bike and think, Give me more horsepower. Increase the velocity…and the risk.

A longer swingarm stops you from being flung away uncontrollably when you unleash all 400 horsepower.

Some bright soul thought it would be a neat idea to fit a supercharger onto this 1,200cc inline-three engine.

The most exciting aspect? You could own this bicycle. Thornton Hundred has listed it at £55,000, equivalent to approximately $70,000 USD. While this sum might seem steep, think about the advanced engineering involved, the audacity behind such an unconventional creation, along with the prestige associated with possessing a uniquely crafted 400-horsepower supercharged drifting motorcycle; suddenly, the cost appears justified.
Almost
.

In the final analysis, this motorcycle was created solely for the sake of being able to be made. It defies practical reasoning, lacks tangible justifications, and doesn’t have a sound rationale supporting who ought to use it. Nonetheless, I am content with its existence. Motorcycles fundamentally aren’t matters of logic; they’re expressions of emotion, challenges to limits, endeavors that compel observers to pause and remark.
What the actual hell
?

In this aspect, the highly enhanced Speed Triple RR is ideal.
