Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports has introduced a new digital arrival card system, an online platform aimed at replacing the conventional paper-based TM.6 arrival form.

As reported, starting from May 1, 2025, every international visitor must fill out the Thailand Digital Arrival Card not more than 72 hours prior to their entry into the nation.

Travelers can now preregister and provide their personal information online through the updated system, which will substantially decrease immigration processing times and enhance general efficiency at border entries.

To promote broad acceptance, the Immigration Bureau has created multilingual promotional content such as brochures and video materials available in English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese. This information aims to assist visitors in using the system efficiently.

Thailand aims for 38 million international travelers in 2025, building on the record-breaking figure of over 35.5 million tourists who contributed 1.6 trillion baht to the economy in 2024.
