Sunny Deol Speaks Out on Fawad Khan’s Return to Bollywood

In Pakistan, as of April 10, Indian actor Sunny Deol expressed his opinion regarding Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s return to Bollywood through the forthcoming movie “Abhir Gulal.”

Khan, who started his career in Hindi cinema with ‘Khoobsurat,’ proceeded to act in additional movies such as ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Kapoor & Sons.’

Nevertheless, the Pakistani performer’s earlier experience in Bollywood came to an abrupt end as tensions escalated between Pakistan and India over subsequent years.

Fawad Khan is poised to make his comeback to the Indian film industry after a hiatus of six years in the movie ‘Abir Gulaal,’ co-starring actress Vaani Kapoor.

The romantic comedy directed by Aarti S Bagdi is set to premiere in theaters on May 9.

In the continuing discussion in India regarding Fawad Khan’s involvement in the movie, Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has stated that he sees no issue with the Pakistani star participating in Indian films.

“I’d prefer not to delve into the political aspect since that’s when things tend to get complicated. As actors, we perform for people from all around the globe. Regardless of whether someone is watching or not, our work is intended for everybody. Therefore, there’s nothing to worry about,” he stated in an interview with an Indian news organization.

Sunny Deol stated: “Given how the world has evolved, we ought to remain globally connected and have more nations; that’s how things should be.”

Previously, Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane supported Fawad Khan’s performance and suggested that ‘Abir Gulal’ has good potential for success at the box office.

In response to inquiries regarding the concerns surrounding Pakistani artists in India, she stated, “It doesn’t affect me directly. That’s just the way things go globally, isn’t it? I genuinely think that if something is supposed to occur, it will. I try not to let external distractions interfere with my work.”
