Rachin Ravindra remained not out with a score of 65 runs off 45 deliveries, featuring four sixes and two fours. His innings had a striking rate of 144.44, and he continued his batting all the way through till the final delivery of the Chennai innings as an opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Noor Ahmad (4/18) produced a decisive spell as MI steadily lost wickets. Deepak Chahar (28* off 15 balls, including two boundaries and two sixes) provided the bowlers with a target to strive for as MI managed to post 155/9 from their 20 overs.

During the chase, CSK lost Rahul Tripathi (2) quickly. Despite this, Vignesh Puthur’s impressive bowling performance (3/32) put pressure back on CSK.

CSK reached 116/5 at one point, but then Rachin (not out, scored 65 runs off 45 deliveries including two fours and four sixes) along with Ravindra Jadeja (scored 17 runs in 18 balls) guided CSK across the finish line with four wickets remaining and five extra balls unused. (ANI)
