On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly examined the advancements of ongoing initiatives managed by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Development during a gathering that included the housing minister, Sherif El Sherbini, along with top administrators from the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

Sherbini mentioned that arrangements are being made to launch sign-ups for the initial round of the second stage of the “Your Home in Egypt” program, aimed at Egyptian expats, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Expatriates.

The package will feature 1,380 residential units eligible for enrollment between August 30 and September 4, with options for selecting specific units available from September 20 through 25.

He mentioned that the second stage of the program will provide approximately 3,000 residential, commercial, and administrative units through three different options. These consist of mid-to-high income housing in developments like “Diarna,” “Sakan Misr,” “Dar Misr,” “Ganna,” and “Valley Towers” located in various new cities such as New Cairo, New Alamein, New Mansoura, New Minya, New Damietta, October Gardens, and more.

The program offers adaptable payment options spanning 10 years along with reductions as high as 7 percent, addressing appeals made by expatriates at the Sixth Conference of Egyptians Overseas.

Sherbini emphasized that the initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s instructions aimed at improving services provided to Egyptian citizens overseas, reinforcing their connections with the country, and encouraging their role in advancing the nation’s growth.

The official also examined the progress of the presidential project titled “Housing for All Egyptians,” which he referred to as the globe’s biggest housing scheme aimed at low-income residents, spanning every province and newly developed areas.

He mentioned that the application period for the “Housing for All Egyptians 7” initiative has been pushed back to September 14, allowing additional people the opportunity to submit their requests.

Regarding land allocations, Sherbini mentioned that NUCA is increasing the availability of residential lots in various categories to address rising demand, encourage growth in emerging cities, and enable people from all income levels to construct their own homes according to rules.
