Pecan Trust Microfinance Bank remains a leader in empowering women through their sponsorship of the She Leads Africa Business Boost Lab. This program is aimed at providing female business owners with the necessary skills and insights to thrive in their ventures.

Recently hosted at the LCCI Conference Centre in Lagos, this gathering attracted more than 200 dynamic women entrepreneurs hailing from various sectors including textiles, agriculture, and beyond.

The Business Boost Lab 2025 included four main sessions led by prominent specialists in areas such as branding, business growth, operational strategies, financial planning, and additional fields.

The participation of Pecan Trust enabled individuals to acquire knowledge about efficient financial management and receive personalized support aimed at bolstering and safeguarding business assets via savings strategies, health insurance options, and enhanced financial understanding.

Adekunle Karounwi, who leads Credit Operations at the bank, mentioned that their initiative goes further than just offering businesses access to funds. They also strive to equip business owners with the knowledge needed to fully utilize the financial opportunities provided.
