In Pakistan on April 10th, the Sindh Police initiated a comprehensive crackdown on vehicles not adhering to traffic regulations. The operation led to the confiscation of 36 heavy transport vehicles (HTVs), light transport vehicles (LTVs), and 382 motorcycles within Karachi City. Additionally, law enforcement impounded 12 water tankers, 2 minibusses, 2 small trucks, 3 dump trucks, 8 large trucks, 1 passenger bus, 1 mazda vehicle, 5 fuel tankers, and 2 HTV trucks during their efforts.

Regarding the ongoing efforts, Sindhโ€™s Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, stated that comprehensive and methodical actions are being implemented throughout the region to rigorously implement traffic regulations as per directives from the Sindh government. These measures are designed to safeguard public safety, uphold road discipline, and hold accountable those who violate legal standards.

Sharjeel Inam Memon additionally mentioned that individuals who were riding without helmets had their motorcycles impounded. Starting from Tuesday, April 8, campaigns targeting outdated and high-end luxurious vehicles breaking traffic regulations have commenced throughout the city, with efforts intensifying daily. He underscored that everyone must adhere to legal standards, as nobody is exempt from compliance with the law.

He urged the residents to adhere to traffic regulations, use helmets, ensure they have all necessary vehicle paperwork, and meet legal obligations like obtaining route permissions and securing fitness certifications to prevent any complications.

In the meantime, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon instructed for the prompt conclusion of all projects sanctioned under the purview of the Information Departmentโ€™s Content and Production Board. A significant gathering took place within the Sindh Information Department chaired by Sindh Senior Minister along with being the Provincial Minister responsible for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit,Sharjeel Inam Memon. This assembly focused on assessing the advancement made towards completing the initiatives authorized by the Content and Production Board.

The gathering included Information Secretary Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon, Content and Production Board member Saleem Khan, Advertising Director Muhammad Yousuf Kabooro, Film Director Hizbullah Memon, Deputy Director Sarang Latif Chandio, along with several other officials. At the meeting, Sindhโ€™s senior minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, highlighted that the initiatives undertaken by the Sindh government serve multiple purposes: they raise public consciousness as well as work towards revitalizing the film sector, nurturing emerging talents, and generating job prospects. According to him, the provincial administration aims to foster national cohesion, harmony, and patriotic sentiment via their creative ventures. Additionally, he stressed the importance of timely completion of all undertakings without any avoidable delays.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized that for government programs to succeed, they must adhere to stringent benchmarks, maintain complete openness, and follow an all-encompassing plan. It is crucial that these ventures be carried out with utmost dedication, professional skill, and accountability to ensure their timely conclusion as scheduled.
