On JioHotstar, the online viewership for the initial trio of games witnessed a 40 percent increase compared to the previous season, driven largely by a substantial 54 percent rise in Connected TV (CTV) usage. The platform garnered an impressive 137 crore views along with a peak concurrent viewer count of 3.4 crore during these early fixtures of IPL 2025. Additionally, fans spent over 2,186 crore minutes watching content, underscoring JioHotstarโ€™s ongoing success as they continue to redefine audience engagement metrics and capture the spirit of the country more vividly than ever before.

Additionally, according to BARC statistics, the inaugural weekend of TATA IPL 2025 made history on television by attracting more than 25.3 crores of viewers and accumulating an astounding 2,770 crore minutes of viewing timeโ€”a 22 percent increase from the prior year. The average Television Rating Points (TVRs) for the initial three games saw a significant rise of 39 percent when contrasted with the preceding season.
