Jason Isaacs Shares Kids’ Surprising Response to Emmy Nomination

Jason Isaacs has shared insights into how his kids responded to his initial Emmy nomination.

An Emmy award was nominated for the actor’s role in the third season of The White Lotus.

While speaking with People Magazine, Jason, who has two daughters with his wife Emma Hewitt, shared that his children weren’t at all impressed by his nomination.

He stated, “I am filming in Dublin, and I visited Montreal for a few days to install my daughter’s bookshelves, hang pictures, set up window shades, go shopping with her, and purchase furnishings for her apartment. That’s what matters most to her—and that’s what she should focus on with your parents.”

Adding, ‘They aren’t at all impressed with my profession.’

Jason continued, “I’m not saying it isn’t extremely flattering and wonderful.”

The actor remarked, ‘I am fully aware that I have been performing this role for an extremely extended period, and such level of recognition is uncommon.’

Complimenting the founder of the White Lotus, Jason stated, “Mike White crafts multi-faceted, unexpected characters who act in uniquely erratic manners and challenges every actor to venture into areas they typically avoid.”

“I felt as though I had won an award simply for landing the role and being able to perform it, along with pushing my limits and facing various challenges,” Jason Isaacs stated.
