Currently, Summit asserts that despite addressing queries about Modi’s management during his third term, there hasn’t been any weakening of governance since 2014.

He stated that starting from 2014, the initiatives introduced in June 2015, which then achieved full coverage by 2019, indicate enhanced governance. The Gross Domestic Product statistics support this observation.

Puri downplayed worries about the BJP winning 303 seats in the previous election.
Lok Sabha elections
rather than a higher 330-340, indicating it has had no effect on governance.

Puri highlighted the post-2014 state election victories, stating, “Following 2014, we achieved success in Haryana, Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar, and shortly after in West Bengal.”

He criticized the West Bengal government, referring to Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent statement in parliament.

“Minister Amit Shah stated that 450 kilometers of the border still lack fencing even after several communications with the authorities. Intruders cross through these areas and obtain Aadhaar cards, which leads them to challenge us. Similar to how the Kejriwal administration in Delhi might face backlash, this present regime in West Bengal could also be ousted,” Puri commented.

In Haryana, Puri remembered addressing doubts raised by critics such as prominent journalists, who anticipated a unified front among the Jats.

“I mentioned we would secure more than 45 seats, and indeed we achieved that,” he remarked. In reference to Delhi, he recognized the Aam Aadmi Party’s giveaway programs but also stated, “Voters prioritize effective administration over handouts, which is fueling the pattern I’m discussing.”

Speaking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hardeep Puri commended his commitment and emphasis on comprehensive growth.

“I have no knowledge of any other interests he possesses. Examine his history—his accomplishments in Gujarat during his tenure as Chief Minister and what he’s achieved since becoming Prime Minister. The amount of time he dedicates to work makes even some younger individuals feel inadequate,” he stated.

Hardeep Puri emphasized Modi’s leadership, mentioning that the aim is to propel India into becoming the third-largest economy, with possibilities of advancing to either the second or even the top spot in the following years.

“The prediction of becoming the third-largest economy was not inaccurate regarding the timeframe. Although economists had their doubts, our economic expansion, which now exceeds $2 trillion when factoring in the external sector, demonstrates resilience in overcoming obstacles,” he noted.

He observed that although success isn’t assured, all signs indicate India is well-positioned to reach an $8-10 trillion economy within the expected time frame.

He further stated, “Our victories in elections can be attributed to the leadership of the Prime Minister, widespread public backing, comprehensive growth, and initiatives at the national level. Under his guidance, our economy has expanded from $2.2 trillion to $4.4 trillion, setting an ambitious target to achieve $7 trillion as part of our vision for a prosperous India,” Puri added.

He stressed that individuals acknowledge this advancement and prioritize growth over handouts. He further noted, “The public is discerning; they seek improved amenities rather than mere handouts,” (ANI)
