They engaged deeply with topics concerning major worldwide issues and present-day global events, agreeing to boost both countries’ involvement regionally and globally via various multinational programs and organizations.

Recognizing the critical significance of promoting scientific progress, research, and creativity, and reflecting upon the extensive historical partnership between India and France in these domains, Presidents Emmanuel Macron and Narendra Modi declared the official launch of the India-France Year of Innovation in New Delhi in March 2026 with the unveiling of its logo.

Remembering the strong and long-standing defense collaboration within their Strategic Partnership, Presidents Macron and Prime Minister Modi expressed satisfaction over the ongoing cooperation involving aerial and naval resources, consistent with the Defense Industrial Blueprint they approved in 2024.
