The Chennai Desalination Plant initiative aims to ensure a secure and consistent water source through the construction of a seawater desalination facility along with associated infrastructure for water distribution. This endeavor is expected to enhance the quality of life for all inhabitants within the Chennai Metropolitan Area (CMA), particularly benefiting low-income communities, and also improve economic prospects in these regions.

The Initiative for Enhancing Capabilities in Efficient Forest Governance seeks to boost the proficiency of forestry staff in enforcing forest regulations via research activities, development initiatives, execution of trial projects, enhancement of educational programs, and fortification of institutions focusing on woodland preservation, species diversity, and climate-related issues.

Building upon the support provided by JICA, the Delhi Metro Rail initiative aims to enhance the extensive public transit network.
