Customers of Home Depot who have bought the $299 12-foot Giant-Sized Skelly may now buy a 7-foot skeletal dog as an addition.

The home enhancement store is offering a brand-new

season.

A 5×7 skeleton-themed pet features a flexible tail and movable mouth, allowing Halloween enthusiasts to display it indoors or outdoors.

Skelly’s Dog has been selling rapidly since Home Depot launched it, with the item starting at a cost of $199.

The Home Depot’s 7-foot skeleton dog is among several Halloween-related items the store introduced over two months ago.

Although Home Depot has been offering Halloween-related items since 2013, the company achieved unprecedented online success following the release of its 12-foot skeleton in 2020.

“For Skelly, we realized instantly when we tried him out that we had developed one of the top Halloween products ever,” stated Lance Allen, Senior Merchant for Decorative Holidays, in a 2023 press statement.

Home Depot was bound to include a 7-foot Skelly Dog in its Halloween lineup, which the company labeled online as the “ideal companion” for the 12-foot Skelly.

Similar to the popular Skelly, Home Depot’s 7-foot Skelly’s Dog features eight distinct LCD-lit eye options that customers can select using a remote control.

Nevertheless, in contrast to the 12-foot skeleton, the 7-foot skeletal canine model needs approximately 30 minutes for an individual to assemble.

The item’s appeal has kept growing since its first launch and is currently listed on over one reselling platform, such as eBay.

Customers looking to buy it via eBay have the option to do so provided they are prepared to pay an amount ranging from
$240 and $600

Many X users were enthusiastic about the product prior to its launch, and someone stated in a
tweet
that it was all gone by the Fourth of July.

“I’ve never desired wealth as much as after hearing that Home Depot introduced a 7-foot skeleton for dogs to go with their 12-foot skeleton,” said an X user.

Home Depot is launching a massive skeleton dog to accompany the large skeleton… Man, I wish I were wealthy.

Skelly’s Dog has an average score of slightly more than four stars, with multiple customers pointing out various issues.

A customer mentioned, ‘I rated it 4 stars since the spine/body isnโ€™t perfectly aligned or snaps together. Iโ€™ll make adjustments to ensure the wires are more securely covered.’

A customer mentioned in their two-star rating: ‘It’s very adorable but made with low quality.’

It was difficult to put together because the pre-made holes rarely aligned properly or were completely absent.

Customers who gave the product a perfect score said something different. One individual mentioned it appeared nice and was “simple to put together.”

“If you own Skelly, you must also have his best friend! Simple to put together and comes with various eye features,” a customer mentioned.

Everyone pauses to look at them and snap photos. Strongly suggest getting Skelly’s dog.
