Ram Navami
The Shobha Yatra is set for April 6. It will begin at the Akashpuri Hanuman Temple in Dhoolpet and end at HVS Public School in Sultan Bazar, located within Singh’s Goshamahal Constituency.

In his letter, Raja Singh highlighted that the procession he has led since 2010 has consistently remained peaceful without any disturbances affecting the tranquility of Hyderabad. The message states, “Since 2010, I’ve headed this Shobha Yatra, and over these 15 years, no event has disrupted the calmness of Hyderabad. Each year, hundreds of thousands of devotees of Lord Ram join the parade with both reverence and orderliness.”

Recent moves by Commissioner CV Anand have led to limitations being placed on the usage of sound systems at events, following guidelines set forth by the Supreme Court regarding noise pollution.

The statement reads, “However, this year, I am facing pressure from the

Commissioner CV Anand, via ACP and DCP officials, cited Supreme Court judgments on noise pollution to limit the usage of sound systems during the procession.

He likewise pondered, โ€œIf this is true, then why does noise pollution occur five times daily, all twelve months of the year throughout the city without any limitations?โ€

Singh highlighted the issue of “selective enforcement” regarding these regulations. (ANI)
