The Football Association plans to bolster its communications regarding the wearing of away colors in home sections following the incident where several hundred Albania fans observed their team play from

sections at Wembley.

Despite no major disturbances during the 2-0 win for the Three Lions, many supporters of the away team could be seen wearing their teamโ€™s colors in sections typically reserved for local fans.

This led to English supporters turning to social media to voice their complaints about a perceived ‘takeover’ by an abundance of Albanian fans occupying areas designated for the home teamโ€™s supporters.

Mail Sport has learned that FA authorities plan to send letters to all individuals purchasing tickets. The letter will inform them that if they are seen inside the English sections of the stadium adorned with attire representing their teamโ€™s rivals, they risk being expelled from the venue.

For the match’s inaugural game, the FA collaborated closely with their Albanian counterparts and opted to allocate 5,600 tickets. This figure represents one of the largest allocations for a visiting team since the opening of the new Wembley Stadium.

The dispersion of Albanian communities, with significant populations living in the UK, is believed to have been involved in a planning operation that encompassed various activities.

A major concern in this intricate scenario is that to buy tickets in the home section, purchasers were required to present evidence of residing at an English address. Even though Wembley Stadium frequently sells out for England games due to its popularity, its capacity of 90,000 sometimes makes obtaining tickets rather uncomplicated.

The personnel responsible for the security operations during Friday eveningโ€™s match expressed satisfaction with how everything unfolded. They had anticipated managing situations involving Albanian supporters in English territories. According to their estimates, less than 1,000 succeeded in purchasing tickets in the home sections.

Nevertheless, additional precautionary measures such as sending warning emails will be implemented at upcoming games. The guidelines are already included on the ticket prints. One X user remarked: ‘

Could we prevent away fans from getting tickets for the home section at Wembley? Albania supporters seem to be dominating it. Another person commented similarly.

‘There were loads of Albania supporters at one end of the stadium.’ Some people questioned if the ambiance would have changed if the away team had scored.

There are no anticipated problems on Monday, when England play against Latvia.
