At the advent of the last days of the Holy month of Ramazan, Eid shopping is gaining momentum in Hyderabad engaging men, women and kids to pur­chase items of their choice. According to details, as Eid-ul-fitr is approaching fast and likely to be cele­brated on Monday, bigger markets of the city were filled with people thronging to get items of their choice within their financial limits. Eid shopping is on peak as great rush is witnessed in almost all shopping areas of Hyderabad including Resham Bazaar, Shahi Bazar, Cantonment, Qasimabad..

The Autobahn Road, Gul Center, and Latifabad Unit No. 8—a bustling commercial area—saw many shoppers engaged in festive purchases during Eid. Shoppers mentioned selecting their preferred outfits from various stores; however, several customers contend that the cost of these garments has significantly increased compared to past years. Consequently, this makes it challenging for them to acquire their top choices without exceeding their financial limits.

Women participate in adorning their hands with various henna designs alongside buying ready-made outfits for both themselves and their children. They also include colorful bangles in their Eid shopping, as these hold an important place and are considered essential for completing the festive purchases.
