On April 10, Pakistan โ€” Chief Secretary of Sindh, Asif Hyder Shah, made an unannounced inspection tour through multiple departments within the Sindh Secretariat, such as those belonging to the Deputy Commissioner South, Director General Colleges, and the Human Rights Commission. During his visit, he showed significant dissatisfaction due to the non-appearance of numerous staff members when they were supposed to be present for work duties.
In response to this circumstance, Mr. Shah took prompt action by issuing show-cause notifications directed towards Director General Colleges Naveed Rab Siddiqui, Regional Director Colleges Karachi Faqir Muhammad Lakho, and Director Private Colleges Karachi Syed Abdul Qadir Shah.

Moreover, Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah suspended Nazir Ahmed Khaskheli, who was overseeing the Human Rights Commission, immediately and directed that a show cause notice be sent to Deputy Commissioner South Javed Nabi Khoso. He himself inspected and signed the attendance records in the offices of these missing employees. Stressing that the non-appearance of high-ranking officials is not acceptable, the Chief Secretary of Sindh underscored the significance of timeliness and mandated strict compliance with official working hours. According to him, numerous officers were still unaccounted for past 9:30 AM, which he deemed wholly unacceptable.
