Since the streaming platform inked a major sponsorship agreement with the club in March 2022, Camp Nou has been impacted.

As part of this deal, the Spotify logo has appeared on Barcelona’s jerseys since the beginning of the 2022-23 season.

However, for El Clasico fixtures, Spotify have foregone their logo, with it instead replaced by the logo of an artist.

This has seen stars such as Drake, Rosalia, Rolling Stones and Karol G previously feature for El Clasico games.

Meanwhile, Coldplay took the honour for the first game between the sides this season back in October.

During that event, the British band bestowed good fortune upon Flick’s team as they achieved an impressive 4-0 victory at the Bernabeu.

And, as reported by a Spanish outlet

, renowned and widely admired artist Swift is anticipated to be featured on the jerseys of the Barcelona club for the El Clasico match in May.

The report states that Spotify has recently begun the procedure of choosing which artist will participate in the much-awaited event.

Many performers were in contention, such as Ed Sheeran and Travis Scott.

Nevertheless, Swift was favored, and a final accord is reportedly imminent, with just a handful of specifics remaining to be resolved.

‘We’re big football enthusiasts and feel privileged that Spotify has featured our Tongue & Lips logo on the FC Barcelona jersey to mark the launch of our new ‘Hackney Diamonds’ album,’ stated the Rolling Stones at the time.

‘We’ll be supporting both the athletes on the field and fans worldwide who will be watching this legendary game.’

The bandโ€™s emblem was also displayed on the club’s womenโ€™s team jersey for a match against Sevilla.

Subsequently, limited-edition shirts with the Rolling Stones emblem were put up for sale, bearing the autographs of every participant from the two games.

Nonetheless, their appearance did not bring much fortune, as Barcelona lost the match. This mirrors what occurred when the team faced a 3-1 loss away to Real with Drakeโ€™s owl emblem visible on their kits back in 2022.
