Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has forecasted that Vladimir Putin’s days are numbered and he will “
die soon
.”
At a press conference, when addressing reporters,
Zelenskyy
claimed that the demise of the Russian president would signify the conclusion of the conflict, which has persisted for over three years now.
“Soon he will pass away, and that is certain, and this chapter will close,” he stated.
His comments were made shortly before his journey to Paris, where he participated in a meeting with members of the “
coalition of the Willing
.”

The initiative seeks to bolster support for Ukraine as well as work towards a lasting peaceful resolution.
On Thursday’s meeting, the attending countries decided to keep the economic sanctions imposed on Moscow in place, even though the Russian leadership has repeatedly called for their lifting.
