James Lee, residing adjacent to Ms. Rayner in Ashton-under-Lyne, aims to find her at home in order to request she take action regarding the towering 70-foot tree located above his yard.

The £2,034 annual council tax for her royal residence at Admiralty House is covered by public funds.
When asked if Ms. Rayner was suitable to represent Ashton-under-Lyne, given his assertion that she seldom visits the region, Mr. Lee responded: “I wouldn’t have thought so.”

There isn’t a particular legal entitlement to sunlight, yet conflicts regarding neighbors’ trees may fall under the provisions of the Labour Party’s Anti-Social Behaviour Act from 2003.
It enables local authorities to settle conflicts regarding a row of trees that stand at least 6 feet 6 inches tall and obstruct a neighbor’s sunlight.
