On April 2, Pakistan announced that Sub-Inspector Aisha Butt from the Punjab Police was awarded the distinguished Excellence in Performance Award for 2025. This honor, bestowed by the International Association of Women Police (IAWP), acknowledges her exceptional dedication and outstanding contributions to law enforcement.
SP Butt, who presently holds the position of City Traffic Officer in Gujranwala, will be honored with an award during the IAWP’s 62nd Annual Training Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, taking place between September 8 and 12. Her recognition stems from significant achievements in public service and law enforcement.
Every year, the IAWP chooses one female law enforcement officer globally to be honored with this international distinction. The recognition of SP Butt underscores her commitment and outstanding performance in policing.
The Punjab Inspector General of Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, expressed his congratulations to SP Butt, describing her acknowledgment as a source of pride for the whole police department.
