Ms. Blessing Adagba, who serves as an assistant to Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru, has been abducted by armed assailants.
Adagba, serving as the Coordinator at the Ngbo Central Development Centre located in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state, was kidnapped during the predawn hours of Thursday.
The police spokesperson, SP Joshua Ukandu, verified the occurrence on Friday.
As per his statement, the police have already started tracking down the suspects.
The Anti-Kidnapping Unit has been dispatched to save the victim. I am confident that they are exerting every effort to ensure her swift liberation.
“Adagba was kidnapped in the Okposhi Eheku community, which is part of the Ohaukwu Local Government Area within the state,” he said.
