A person traveling from Kuala Lumpur to
Sydney
is set to encounter severe legal consequences following an alleged attempt to access the aircraft’s emergency exit multiple times throughout the journey.
A 46-year-old male from Jordan stands accused of attempting to open the rear emergency exit during the flight on Saturday night.
The allegedly hazardous action immediately raised concerns among both the crew and passengers, leading to the individual being guided back to a central seat on the aircraft.
Nevertheless, the 46-year-old reportedly tried again to open the central emergency exit door.
He was held back by staff and travelers, with reports indicating that one employee may have been attacked during the incident.
The Australian Federal Police apprehended the suspect after the aircraft touched down securely in Sydney.
