mentioned that approximately 3000 start-ups will take part in the event this time.

He mentioned, “The current edition of Startup Mahakumbh surpasses last year’s event both in scale and quality. The pavilions now occupy an expanse twice as large as before. This year, we anticipate participation from around 3000 startups, which is double the number from the previous year. Additionally, masterclasses will be conducted during the event. We expect delegates from 64 different nations to attend.”
He added that several corporations have initiated a grant competition where each selected startup will receive funding up to Rs 50 crores and will also undergo mentoring sessions.

The Commerce Minister, Piyush Goyal, will attend the opening ceremony of this event, which seeks to enhance India’s economic progress and display the nation’s developing narrative on an international stage.
Jitin Prasada from MoS Commerce will give a special speech at the opening ceremony.
The unparalleled scope and variety of attendees at this event will offer a crucial stage for entrepreneurs, investors, and influential thinkers to converge, exchange insights, and forge enduring relationships.
Emphasizing the promotion of creativity and teamwork, Startup Mahakumbh aims to establish itself as the cornerstone for future achievements in entrepreneurship.
This year’s event will feature tribal entrepreneurs taking center stage, with over 45 startups participating, such as those nurtured at IIM Calcutta, IIM Kashipur, and IIT Bhilai.
Archana Jahagirdar, Founder and Managing Partner at Rukam Capital and Startup Mahakumbh Organizing Committee Member, applauded the efforts from the government and said, “The support from the Government of has been instrumental towards propelling the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, and we hope to play an integral role by organizing the ‘World’s Biggest Showcase of Innovation’ – Startup Mahakumbh.”
