During an exclusive conversation with W Magazine, Monroe shared that he initially began modifying Labubus after his own toy showed signs of wear from constant use.

One day, driven by sheer boredom and interest, I decided to disassemble it along the seams, allowing me to use it as a template. I own three dachshunds, and I desired a Dachshund Labubu. So I began experimenting and created one. The reaction on TikTok was very positive, prompting me to make another, which also received good feedback, leading to more creations after that.

Very soon, stars such as Lady Gaga, Marc Jacobs, Megan Thee Stallion, and the ensemble cast of
Netflix’s
Wednesday
contacted to have their own personalized Labubu made. Recently, the designer customized a pink Labubu doll for
Blackpink’s Lisa
, who paired it with her personalized pink Labubu-themed attire created by Brett Alan Nelson during the London leg of the group’s Deadline World Tour.


He is additionally a television personality.

might be familiar with The House of Avalon, an organization composed of LGBTQ artists located in Los Angeles.
