Would you like to obtain a box? They are available in every Lindt store and can only be found on supermarket shelves at
Tesco
where they cost £7.50.
Nevertheless, you’ll have just a short period to enjoy it, since the exclusive truffle collection will only be available until the end of 2025. However, if you’re looking ahead, it might still serve as a perfect gift for someone’s Christmas stocking.
“We recognize that UK customers have a special affection for biscuits and shortbread, which hold strong ties to British tradition, making them ideal crunchy delights to combine with our cherished truffles,” said Stefan Bruderer, Master Chocolatier at Lindt & Sprüngli.
We take pleasure in developing fresh and distinctive tastes using our renowned Swiss chocolate.
Clearly, devoted Lindt enthusiasts have been going crazy about the announcement, which has reached the
@newfoodsuk Instagram
page.
“Now you’re speaking,” @laurenjc.xx excitedly wrote, as @gemxcxx mentioned she “needs to try these.”
‘Very delicious,’ @dawnkev2009 remarked, while @jaynemant quipped, ‘that’s 1 pound gained from just staring and imagining how good they’ll be.’
It also generated enthusiasm internationally, with @reneebellasergi stating that “they need these in Australia really badly.”
“I really enjoy shortbread, and when combined with chocolate, it’s absolutely heavenly,” she remarked, while @joellayne55 from Canada also mentioned they wanted to “take some” along.
However, not all were persuaded, as @chbowen2014 noticed them early at Tesco and ‘didn’t care much,’ stating there was ‘a lot of liquid’ and they ‘couldn’t detect the shortbread flavor.’
In March,
Lindt
launched a new large store in London, featuring the biggest Lindor Truffle Pick & Mix available in the UK.
Crafted to offer an exclusive, engaging encounter for fans of chocolate, the boutique replaced a previous 6,000-square-foot Gap location beneath the glow of Piccadilly Circus.
Within, fans of Lindt will discover special presents and memorabilia, along with the chance to customise their own piece of chocolate, plus three of the UK’s initial Lindt Master Chocolatiers.
If you can’t reach the main store, consider visiting smaller, specialty chocolate stores located at places like Bicester Village, Leeds Trinity, Manchester Arndale, and Liverpool One, along with outlet locations in Wembley, Durham, Cheshire Oaks, Bridgend, and others.
