Sri Siddaganga Mutt
“It is a holy site,” he stated.
He went on to say that the seer was considered a demigod, and his principles served as a beacon for everyone.
Poet Sarvagna emphasized that liberation could be attained solely through the guidance of a guru. I felt fortunate to encounter Sri
Shivakumara Swami
He spent his final moments at a hospital in Chennai. He hails from our district, and I feel incredibly fortunate to bear the same name as him. To all of us, he is akin to a demigod, and his principles, teachings, and lifestyle serve as guiding lights for everyone around. Recalling those times, he mentioned, “I once visited the monastery alongside former Chief Minister S M Krishna, who was motivated by the food offerings at the monastery to initiate mid-day meal programs in all state-run schools.”
He added that the seer was firmly committed to including everyone in his journey.
The Swamiji was an ardent devotee of Basavanna and firmly believed in including everyone. Our purpose in coming here is to honor the remarkable individual who made no distinction between wealthy and impoverished individuals, nor among different communities. In this institution, every person received equal treatment. It falls upon all of us to continue his legacy, as I conclude. (ANI)
