In Pakistan on April 10, Ehsan-ur-Rehman Mazari, who serves as an advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Cooperative Departments, conveyed profound sadness following the passing away of prominent Pakistan People’s Party figure, thinker, and senator Taj Haider. In his statement expressing condolences, Mazari highlighted, “Taj Haider embodied principle, elegance, and steadfast dedication. Throughout his lifetime, he dedicated himself unswervingly to promoting ideals, upholding ethics, and serving the public.” He emphasized, “His departure leaves a significant gap within both the PPP and across Pakistan’s political and scholarly spheres.”
Mazari further noted, “The memory of Taj Haider will endure through his insightful contributions, leadership roles, and courageous positions on societal matters.” He also affirmed solidarity with Taj Haider’s kin during their time of mourning, wishing them resilience and tranquility. Concluding his remarks, Mazari sought divine blessings: “We implore God to welcome the deceased into everlasting repose in Paradise’s highest levels and bestow fortitude upon those left behind.”
