Trump participated in the collegiate wrestling competition.
At Wells Fargo Center on Saturday evening, the group included Elon Musk, Congressman Jim Jordan, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, and Travis.

After emerging from beneath the stadium, the president was greeted with a standing ovation as he waved at supporters and raised his arms, with scattered jeers mostly overshadowed by shouts of ‘USA’.

Travis, who runs a conservative website that recently echoed Trump and his MAGA supporters’ opposition to transgender athletes participating in women’s sports, was granted a special invitation to be part of their journey to Philadelphia.

He accompanied Trump and company aboard Air Force One, taking the opportunity to sit down with the then-78-year-old for an exclusive conversation mid-flight.

Thanks to @DonaldTrump and [
White House
Press Secretary] @karolineleavitt for having me aboard Air Force One,” Travis posted on X alongside a picture of himself and Trump on Air Force One. “Now off to the NCAA Wrestling Tournament in Philadelphia.”

Following the gathering, the U.S. author and legal practitioner also posted a photo of himself alongside Musk, affirming that he had an “excellent day.”

‘The experience of watching the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philly was incredible,’ he mentioned in another update. ‘It’s an amazing event with a fantastic audience. Really enjoyable to witness live.’

Upon arriving at Philadelphia International Airport aboard Air Force One, Trump and his team were met by Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin and his spouse Christie prior to heading to Wells Fargo Center.

He ultimately made his way to his seat within theVIP area near the mat, joiningSenator Dave McCormick and his spouseDina Powell who were seated beside him.

At some point during the night, Carter Starocci, who had just become the inaugural five-time national wrestling champion from Penn State, headed directly towards Trump.

After pulling off an astonishing victory against current Olympic champion Gable Steveson, heavyweights wrestler Wyatt Hendrickson from Oklahoma State rose from the mat and gave a salute to the president who was seated in the audience.

In the two-plus months since returning to the White House, Trump has attended the Super Bowl in New Orleans and the Daytona 500 in Florida, where his motorcade drove a portion of the track. While president-elect he also went to a UFC fight in New York.
