A company representative said the approval confirms Chicilon Media has fully met the legal requirements to deliver nationwide IoT and smart communications services, including smart screens, image recognition, data collection and processing, smart devices, sensor networks, and environmental monitoring.

“This is an important step that not only reinforces Chicilon Media’s leading position in smart advertising and digital communications, but also sets a new benchmark for compliance and innovation in Vietnam’s advertising-communications industry,” the representative noted.

The firm plans to progressively introduce intelligent displays throughout the country featuring built-in 4G capabilities and camera technologies, while following three key strategies. Firstly, it will manage its own communication network and offer technological services and solutions to other ad companies, thus improving advertising efficiency and client support within the industry. Secondly, Chicilon Media aims to motivate the advertising field to play an active role in Vietnam’s digital economy, underpinned by legal compliance, security, and openness. Lastly, it seeks to highlight outdoor (OOH) advertising as a crucial element of digital city development, assisting both authorities and communities in establishing smart cities.

“With our status as one of the first enterprises to obtain telecommunications approval, Chicilon Media remains committed to the principle of ‘compliance and standards, technology leadership, shared services,’ steadily advancing Vietnam’s advertising-communications industry into a new stage of digitalization, datafication, and intelligent transformation,” the representative added.
