I love
Las Vegas
Even though gambling and partying aren’t my thing, I have visited over forty times. - Since I’m an introvert, I really enjoy rising early and discovering great places for observing people when traveling; these things add so much more enjoyment to my trips.
- It’s prudent to determine which facilities are most important to you prior to reserving a hotel room.
A lot of folks refuse to believe me when I mention just how deeply I adore this.
visiting Las Vegas
.
Ultimately, Sin City is famous for its spectacular night life, parties, and gambling options — but I’m an introvert who isn’t particularly involved in such activities.
Luckily, Las Vegas offers an abundance of attractions and activities, boasting top-tier spas, dining establishments, and entertainment options globally. Regardless of visiting for a business event with my spouse or enjoying a girlfriends’ getaway, I always return feeling rejuvenated after my stay in the city.
Following multiple visits totaling over 40, I have finally understood
how to organize an amazing vacation in Las Vegas
Here are a few of my top travel recommendations.
Select your resort according to the facilities that matter most to you.
Before
reserving a retreat in Las Vegas
, think about what is most important to you, such as easy access to a gym and spa facilities or having an extremely comfortable bed.
In my opinion, the Aria has the best, comfiest mattresses — you can even buy them from the hotel. The property also has a juice shop and a Starbucks, so it’s easy to grab morning drinks there without having to step into the Vegas heat.
If you want to learn and have some physical activity, try hotels like The Cosmopolitan and Westgate that have tennis courts where you can book lessons.
If wellness is a priority, consider the
Fontainebleau
. It has a cold-plunge pool, an infrared sauna, and a snow room in the spa, plus an IV drip lounge and a fully kitted gym with weights.
Bonus advice: If you prefer to switch between gyms rather than sticking to just one resort facility, day passes are offered at many hotels along the Las Vegas Strip.
Drink plenty of fluids as much as you can.
Keep in mind, you’re in the desert, where the danger of dehydration is significant.
Integrate hydration into your everyday schedule as much as feasible, such as getting a glass of water every time you go to a casino or including electrolytes in your beverages.
In certain situations, you might decide to treat yourself with a more expensive option.
IV treatment
— There are drip lounges scattered across Las Vegas, and certain services can arrange them directly in your hotel room.
These treatments are even more enjoyable when you’re not hungover.
Switch around the itinerary that most other travelers follow.
The
the ideal method to experience Las Vegas
At your own speed means venturing out when much of the city remains asleep. Las Vegas comes alive after dark, making early mornings particularly serene.
Leaving early allows you to bypass crowded sidewalks and dodge some of the Las Vegas heat. Additionally, nothing compares to the refreshing morning air during autumn and winter in Nevada.
Make sure to observe your surroundings, particularly if you appreciate art.
If you’re an art lover, make sure not to miss the artworks scattered throughout Vegas. Numerous resorts showcase impressive art collections within their eateries, lounges, foyers, corridors, and exhibition spaces.
For instance, the Wynn showcases Jeff Koons’ multi-million dollar “Tulips” sculpture, the Aria exhibits works by Rashid Johnson, and the Palms Casino Resort’s Unknown bar boasts designs created by the renowned English artist Damien Hirst.
Discover free amusement simply by observing people in the perfect locations.
Though Vegas is a good spot to buy tickets for epic shows, there are also free forms of entertainment by way of people-watching.
In my opinion, one of the best forms of entertainment in the city comes from sitting in the casino by the elevators when the party crowds are going out.
I prefer to locate a comfortable spot with an excellent view ahead of the busy 7 p.m. dinnertime rush and the peak 10:30 p.m. bar entry period.
Thereafter, I relish my personal “runway displays” featuring elegantly dressed attendees making their way into the night.
If you’re a beginner at table games, start somewhere cheap
If you’re newer to playing cards, start your trip at casinos with low table minimums, like $5.
This is a good way to learn how to play games and which you enjoy without blowing through a lot of cash. From there, you can use the skills you’ve built up somewhere else.
Just remember that each casino has its own rules and payouts, so talk to your dealer and ask questions before starting a game somewhere new.
