Following his illustrious career, during which he clinched three major titles and became the first British male to reach world No 1 according to the ATP rankings, Murray decided to retire from professional tennis at the 2024.

Surprisingly, this staggering amount represents an improvement over the prior year when losses amounted to £919,572.
In 2022, the five-star hotel recorded its final profitable year with earnings of £416,442.
In the meantime, cash reserves have risen compared to the figures from the prior year’s report and now amount to £242,535.
Staying overnight in one of Cromlix’s 67 square meter deluxe suites could set you back over £700 and offers the promise of ‘a luxurious homely comfort’.
The Cromlix website characterizes Kim, who is the daughter of tennis coach Nigel Sears, as the ‘driving creative influence’ behind the project and mentions that she ‘actively contributes to defining the Cromlix experience.’
The Murrays have recently joined forces with the craft gin producer Wildfire Gin to create a distinctive spirit using ingredients sourced from across their Cromlix property.
Following the launch of Cromlix Gin, Kim expressed her satisfaction with the creation they had brought to life.
She said: ‘I have to admit I really enjoyed the blind tasting stage of this process and I’m so pleased with the end product.
The bottle is truly an artistic masterpiece, and I am most eager to sample the new ‘Perfect Serve’ cocktail during my upcoming visit.
When reached out to by Mail Sport for comments, Cromwich stated: “In 2024, Cromwich experienced yet another remarkable year subsequent to the hotel’s complete renovation the prior year. Throughout this period, the hotel maintained strong booking levels all-year-round along with a thriving restaurant and event operations.”
Cromlix received several prestigious awards such as a MICHELIN star (from the MICHELIN Guide 2024), being named AA Hotel of the Year for Scotland in 2024, and winning Independent Hotel of the Year at the Scottish Excellence Awards 2024.
