2027 Elections: Tinubu’s Support Group Urges Unity and Steadfastness Among Members (International Edition)

In preparation for the 2027 General Elections, a support group affiliated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the banner of The Asiwaju Positivity Initiative (API) has called upon the president’s supporters in Lagos State to remain unified and unwavering in their backing of both him and his administration.

The initiator of the program, Hon. Ayodele Oluseye, delivered an address during the organization’s first virtual gathering, which was held online to deliberate upon the accomplishments and policies of President Tinubu’s administration.

The attendees at the conference featured Princess Sarah Sosan, the ex-Deputy Governor of Lagos, as well as Dr. Isiaka Owoade, the past Special Adviser to the Governor of Osun State concerning lands, physical planning, and urban development. These individuals, along with several others, provided detailed insights into President Tinubu’s initiatives aimed at overhauling the nation.

In a statement released following their online gathering, Oluseye said supporters ought to remain cautious about individuals who propagate division within the state. These people allegedly do so under the pretense of advocating for local political rights but aim to obstruct the president’s initiatives. A copy of this declaration was provided to journalists.

The organizer encouraged them not to become divided but to remain united in their backing of President Tinubu, whom they portrayed as a leader with compassion whose impact has significantly improved numerous lives.

He restated the team’s dedication to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. At the same time, he recognized the president’s role in advancing the growth of Lagos State and Nigeria overall.

Oluseye praised Tinubu’s forward-thinking guidance in enabling local Lagos inhabitants to take part in governance, noting that this has generated numerous chances for the community members.

Instead of contributing to shared advancement, certain people are hindering the president’s initiatives for their own self-serving purposes.

These people, who have deceived numerous others into opposing Asiwaju, now conceal themselves behind the Omo Eko initiative to promote their own Lagos for Lagos plan.

Nonetheless, their genuine intentions do not revolve around safeguarding native Lagos inhabitants, as evidenced by their repeated neglect of our community’s needs in leadership roles.

Let’s refrain from being divided. Instead, let’s remain steadfast in our backing of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a leader with compassion who has profoundly impacted numerous lives through his legacy.

“Let’s progress jointly, bound by our goals, and dedicated to guaranteeing Lagos thrives,” he stated.

Furthermore, Oluseye contended that genuine leadership does not stem from personal ambitions or political expediency, but rather from honoring those who have sincerely dedicated themselves to the cause of democracy and progress.

This became evident as he somberly reflected on the recurring ethnic storyline that unfolded during the recent leadership turmoil at the Lagos State House of Assembly, following the removal of the Speaker, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, only for him to be subsequently restored to his position.

As he sees it, these moves were merely efforts to challenge Tinubu’s control and covertly take over Lagos. He emphasized that the state has historically been an urban center with significant diversity, yet retains a robust sense of local identity.

“We have to dismiss this hypocrisy and collaborate to guarantee that capable and devoted residents of Lagos assume their proper roles in leadership via discussions,” he asserted.
